This is an album composed of love songs of all different shapes and sizes. Ranging from the skid row Tom Waits ballad “Saving All My Love For You”, to re-interpretations of lush romantic Johnny Hartman classics like “My One and Only Love” and “Dedicated to You”, with a mixture of Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Randy Newman, Cole Porter, Leon Russel, Thad Jones and Dr. John in between. Recorded 2008 at Dogwater Studios in New Orleans, and mastered by Grammy award winning engineer David Farrell.
